2 Months

Happy 2 Month Birthday Jocelyn and Lucas! 

They had their two month doctor's appointment today which included their first round of immunizations.  They did great and barely cried at the shots.  The whole office was talking about how well they did!  In addition they were weighed and measured...

Jocelyn is 11lb-2oz,22.5 inches long (50th percentile) and Lucas is 10lb-5oz, 22 inches long (25th percentile).  Lucas has some catching up to do, but they are both growing and growing!

Happy 8 Weeks...

Jocelyn and Lucas are 8 weeks today and I know I keep saying this, but they are getting so big!!  Here are a few photos taken before and after their afternoon nap.

Oh Daddy...

I put Jocelyn to bed in this very pretty pink sleeper last night

and found her this morning wearing one of Lucas' sleepers.  Apparently Rick was confused in the middle of the night. 

p.s. The sleeper didn't literally come off Lucas' back and he didn't sleep naked.  We stripped him down for play time because he spit up all over his sleeper. 

Photo Shoot

Last week we did a newborn and family photo shoot with a fantastic photographer, Andre.  He was also an old friend of mine from the Cal Poly dorms.  We are so happy with how the photos turned out.

Monday... Fun Day?

And here I thought tummy time and the floor gym were supposed to be fun!?

Saturday Morning Walk

The twins and I went with Rick to his Saturday morning soccer game this morning.  The soccer fields are surrounded by a walking track.  To get in the spirit Jocelyn and Lucas wore their new track suits and we broke out the double side by side stroller. 

6 Weeks Old...

Jocelyn and Lucas turned 6 weeks old yesterday. With 6 weeks came a list of fun new developments, including the discovery of their hands, turning and holding their head more, smiling (although Rick claims they are only gas smiles!), responding to our voice. and wiggling all over the place.  The evening fussiness has also increased, which has been wearing and challenging for mom and dad!  But this shall pass and hopefully we'll be getting more sleep sooner than later ;)

I have no idea what they were staring at, but it sure seemed captivating!

Growing Like Weeds

Jocelyn and Lucas turned 5 weeks the other day. I can't believe they have already been home for a month. They are growing so fast!

At our 1 month appointment on Jan 27th Jocelyn was 8lbs and Lucas was 7.5lbs. That may seem little to you, but it is huge to us. Everyday they feel heavier and it is getting harder to pick them up with one hand!
