Rick and I had our first adult weekend away, without Jocelyn and Lucas for more than 1 night. It was actually 3 nights and 3 days away! We headed to Manhattan, Kansas for a family friend's wedding. It was a true country event from the Kentucky Derby themed cocktail party with homemade bourbon balls (made by my mother in law!) to the wedding reception held in a straw floored tent on the bride's family ranch, Farley Ranch. We had a great time!
And Jocelyn and Lucas had a wonderful weekend at the Mayes house. They enjoyed some time in the sun and wore out their grandma Booboo, grandpa, and aunt Erin! The text I received from Erin on Saturday night said something like "I've never been so tired in my entire life"! Lol!
